Christmas...in a nutshell

So it has been a pretty crazy couple weeks. Like the holidays usually are...So I'll give a quick re-cap and some of my favorite pictures. Let me see... I think to start the season we went to Temple Square to see the pretty lights with Colin's Mom. Even though we probably went on the most chaotic night it was still fun. I love the lights and the Temple. So it was great!

THEN! We went to the Festival of Trees. I LOVE it! Colin...didn't quite so much. Haha but he went at least once so that's good enough for me! Here's a couple of my favorite that we got to see.
You bet your bottom thats a pez despenser tree!! Brilliance!

Clifford just plain rules...

And who doesn't love a Jazz Tree, right??!

So then my favorite buddy Aiden and myself had a birthday on the 20th. It was fun stuff. My birthdays are usually low key so we kept with tradition. I went and gave Aiden his present and hung for a bit. Then Colin and I met up with his family (who were all in town for about a week) and had a family picture taken. Haven't seen any yet so I hope they turn out okay! His family is so cute so I'm sure it did! Then we met my family at Olive Garden and went to my aunts and played games till the wee hours of the morning(midnight. whew!)

Colin gave me 21 flowers for my 21st birthday. Aww...

I must share my Betty Crocker skills...I was so proud of myself.
Peanut Butter Cups

And some yummy cookies...

And Christmas Eve we went to Nephi and built our first home together...A ginger bread house!

Then Christmas we were extra lazy. It was super fantastic!

The End!

In case you didn't know....

Um I'm engaged! Way fun!! Yep yep its true! Colin proposed about two weeks ago. So all those of you that don't know him should GET to know him! He is fantastic! The date is March 20th in the Salt Lake temple. We're keeping the whole shebang real small. Close friends and family is all but that doesn't mean we don't absolutely love you all. Anywho I figured this was a good way to get the word out. Here's a couple of pictures from the night he proposed. My aunt said I looked like I was "floating on air". Ha I guess I couldn't help it I was pretty dang excited! We went out with my friend Jenn and her boyfriend, Tony. I blame Jenn for the bad picture of the ring...You can't really see it very well because of the flash or something(Way to go Jenn! Just kidding I love you).
